SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILSIt was our first trip to ontario ,we hit the water at 5:45 am and went out of sodus out to 150 and put in and trolled out with the south wind. I put my first seth green rig in with different suttons in 10 foot spacing and let it out some, put out a second seth green rig and just as I hooked up the last spoon the first rod got a hit. The first fish was a salmon and it had a spoon from each rig in its mouth ,we trolled out to 275 feet picking up 2 more salmon. Things got rough when the wind turned west so I went in towards the lighthouse to 100 feet, I was marking fish everywhere in 100 fow so we trolled from 100 out to 150.I was marking tons but only got one laker from this depth. I tryed lead core and a dipsy and a side planer with no action.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what a Seth Green rig is?

Sounds like you guys did great for it being your first trip. Hope it was your first of many successful trips on Lake Ontario.

the green rig is one main line with multiple spoons leaders. usually three or four spoons spaced 10-20 foot apart with a lead weight at the bottom.

Its a fingerlakes laker rig.
