Two small bouys on Cayuga near aurora cliffs in around 75 of water. They are around 100 yds apart, going east to west.

Just curious what they are there for they say stay back 300 ft on them. obviously I was much closer than that to be able to read them. Thanks

probly nettin lakers for eggs ,dove near one in seneca 20 yrs ago didnt take long for dec to show up ,never did see the net,thats when they exploained the whole setup...

taiked to the boys from DEC while they were loading there boat. every 4 yrs. they do a sampling on cayuga, weight,lenght and scale samples.this happens to be the yr. they seemed to be suprised at the very good health of the fish and the lack of lamprey.
