I'm not sure where to post this so please, move it to the right place if need be.

I last fished Lake Ontario 2 years ago. I stayed at 4-Mile State Park and put in at the Wilson launch ramp. I then had a new Starcraft and to be honest, the wood bumper on the dock left lasting memories on my boat (even with fenders!). Has there been any improvement to the docks, you know like a rubber rub rail or something? I am planning a trip for later this month and was curious before returning there.

Many Thanks!

I was down there a week or so ago. Couldnt tell you for sure but there was nothing new down there that caught my eye. I live about 12 minutes away so I will take a little ride down the lake and check it out a little later on

OMG A SCRATCH..........keep the boat home...now ya sound like sliderbite and his "boaty"....it also helps not to ram the dock when launching the boat......but now that i think of it the wife did have a parked car jump out in front of her once ,and a curb ran out infront of her on a corner.......

KSC.......

The Wilson launch is the same.....

Olcott has a beautiful launch facility, and it's only 7 miles (or so) to the E of Wilson..... If you're looking for a wonderful launching/loading experience, you'll find it in Olcott... :)

And a killer fish cleaning station, clean nice bathrooms, block and bag ice, places to eat, 2 bait shops. Olcott is great I can't bring myself to fish out of anywhere but it's perfect for the visiting weekend fisherman.

Thanks All!

Ray, I appreciate your thoughts, but sometimes the wind comes in a manner that prevents you from controlling everything...a rubber rub rail would have prevented damage to the paint...maybe you don't care but I do, this was a big investment for me....

I think y'all might be right, Hello Olcott!
