Ive read a few pieces and reports about Landlocked salmon in some of the finger lakes, seneca in particular... does anyone know off hand which species can be found in landlocked environments?

I know i read somewhere about a school of landlocked sockeyes up in Lake George...

Yeah, they are Atlantic's that came down through the St Lawrence, Historically, almost got whipped out in the finger lakes all together. But thank god are back in full force in most of their range thanks to the DEC. The true Land locks are found in Maine and are only a sub species I believe.

The "land locked sockeyes" are Kokanee(spelling?) salmon, and I don't think Lake George has any.
