First time out on the lake with super flat water made he run from the north end to Bristol harbour made the turn and trolled back north. Picked up my first fish on the new rigger a nice Bow on a cleo was fun watching those jumps, reset and the rigger fired again with another nice bow. Picked up a few other fish on the wire with SD FF set at 105 and 150 over 175. Copper was quiet all day set at 200-300 and 400 . About mid lake over 225 the wire set at 210 fires and starts screamming grabbed it handed it off to Melcher and he was in for one of the best fights I've seen so far on Canan, aftera pretty good battle I knew it was going to be a decent fish and a dandy it was, nice 12lb 8oz toad. HT SD with Hammer Fly was the hot combo.
