Another very good day on Canandaigua - we set up south with 1 rigger (SD / fly) (2) wires (SD/Fly), 300' copper and I broke out the brand new Seth Green rig loaded with Suttons. Didn't do squat by the way!! The 1st taker was a 4# laker on a green / black / chrome SD / Green Hammer fly followed by a very nice bow who hit a white dalmation SD / white fly out 210'. We picked up a 3rd bow on a retrieval of the same white set up getting ready to move. We did have (3) hard short strikes which is not typical especially if they were from the bows which are typically hit the lures violently.

Nice! I saw you guys out just south of us was wondering how you guys were making out. Seemed to be lots of bait and fish around them but not as active as I thought they would be thought maybe the flat water messed them up. Did you see the bait pods skimming the surfacr? We passed 4 or 5 big pods of bait right on top.

We did see bait but the bite was slow North of the condo's so we pulled the lines in and headed back to the south end. The lack of wind and flat conditions are always tough.

Hey Tom, nice fishing, that white on white attractor combo is my go to with the weather conditions in the picture.
