Trolling Motor noise??

Before I purchase a bow mount trolling motor I would like to know what to expect in noise on my sonar if I mount a transducer on it.

Humminbird FF597ci HD DI. Just mounted and not fished with. Transom mount transducer.

Any body found this to be a problem?

Also if I buy one with Universal Sonar 2 is it supposed to be better? I would however loose the DI function with that.

Most of the time there will not be any interferience. Just run your power leads directly to the battery, this is the problem many people overlook when they get electrical noise.
