I am wondering if there are any good cork handle planer board rods out there. I was thinking about a Daiwa Heartland Salmon & Steelhead 8' 6" Medium Action Graphite....These won't be pulling in lines but is that a good choice for Walleye and Browns?

Alright thanks guys alot of people say that cork is a bad choice for the reason of getting chewed up but I have the big jon style holders so no worries there. More suggestions would still be appreciated though!!!!

Shimano Clarus makes cork handle steelie and salmon casting rods in a variety of flavors with lifetime warranty and can be had for around 70-80 a piece, I have a jiggin stick IM-7 blank great rod and action.

I do agree that cork can and will get chewed up for trolling but have at it! you can always buy wraps for them.
