I have a Cannon MAG@) DT/HS that will not activate when the toggel is moved either up or down. I checked the fuse and it is ok. When I put the electrical connectioins from the downrigger onto the battery posts I hear a clicking sound when the cable is tapped on the positive post. Wondering if the problem is with the switch. Would welcome any comments. Thanks

My same unit needed a new curcuit board and a tighter sleve for the motor drive-shaft. Mine was making similar clicking sounds, blew a 30 amp fuse, and refused to raise the ball. Had to retreive a 13 lb ball by hand from 60 down. Not fun! Cost of new board- $300 on that unit. Sorry for the bad news. Hopefully you will find a different solution.
