engine not running right

My one engine will not rev above 3000 rpm the engine will buck. I have changed the alt the slave solaniod and still no change i have also change the fuel filter the other engine runs fine.The engines are the 488's that mercursier made bake in the 80's. Iam not sure if if i have afuel delvier problem or not and at this piont I am concern that imight have a morgsr engine problem. does any one know what the next step should be?

how about an air leak in the fuel line? I hope it is not an actual engine problem. Try swapping the fuel lines to the other engine and see if the problem swaps engine, showing you it is with that particular line or that engine. Hope this helps.

Islolate that one motor and see if it dose the same thing. Then start your trouble shooting but you always start by isolating the bad motor first, otherwise it can be a dog chasin tail type of work. If it works fine as a single then it was something in the electrical or fuel with the other motor.
