SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Started in close and was 3 for 4 on shakers in 90-130 FOW about 3-5 miles east. After screwing around there with the dinks and traffic, we picked up and ran out to 27N and trolled north. A slow steady pick of different year classes of salmon, all less then 10 lbs but one was about 18 lbs. Also took one nice big steelie (11 lbs or so) that I didnt weigh in for some reason. Cutbait was by far my MVP. mostly a dipsey bit 220-320 back on setting 2. Very good action, somewhat lacking in size. I cannot get the freaking salmon to go in the short water, which is where they rightfully should be this time of year. Any thoughts. FWIW, the temp was 48-54 down 100-110 in close, a bit higher (80-90) out deep.

Good luck! I hang out on 69 or 79 if anyone wants to talk. Here all week.
