So fishing at night for these bad boys...

I have been wanting to fish at night but not sure what the good techniques are or if certain spots are better than other.

For example is fishing in front of major tribs better? like in front of Oswego when the kings are staging?

Also is the use of glow spoons and attractors/ flies the way to go?

thanks,

Honestly dont waste your time.. Tried it a few times and really wasnt much fun... If nothing else at least wait for a full moon so you can see a bit better.

If you want pictures of the best screen you'll ever fish over knock yourself out. A few of us have tried it and its frustrating with little success.

There was an article about night Kings, in In Fisherman Magazine, a while back.

Safety was discussed quite a few times.

Shore casting with 3/4oz little cleos, glow spoons is very good at night this time of year. I have caught many knigs in the Niagara river with the glow spoons. There good for about 3-4 casts then you hit them with a camera flash and throw it again. It's a lot of fun.
