SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Left late this morning and started taking down temps at 6o fow. after several tries where the temperature was 71 all the way down to the bottom,things started looking up a bit in 130 feet where we found a very irregular break starting 110 down. It went between 64 and 44 with the probe at 110 down.

We set up and caught a few 2 year olds and then to make my son feel better,I dropped one line down to 145 feet down and went laker hunting.Thank god for lakers.They are very dependable and we caught a very nice 15 pounder. That was it for the day.

Cornelis;

Were you at one point just west of Genny river? ( dusk ) in the 120 to 150 for range. I only saw a few boats out. Do you have a planer mast on the very bow of your boat?

I was there ,north and west, but a bit farther out. My boat does have a planer mast at the very tip.

Were you out a bit farther and a bit more to the east?

Cornelis.
