SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

We left at six and went out to sixty feet where in spite of warm water there were plenty of marks.Let out the first dipsy and as we let the second dipsy out the first took a big hit which we lost after about 10 minutes.Meanwhile I got the 2 riggers down and the second dipsy took a hit. this one turned out to be a good king in the twenties, another followed within 20 minutes, but then things got very quiet. We went out deeper, around 90 fow and set up there. The thermocline was at fifty feet and when we found our break line it went down to about 70. There the steelhead were just hitting all the time all the way out to 140 feet,at which point we got another king.Later we picked up a few lakers. Mostly we were just having a great time with the steel head.

Sounds like a great day out there. We had a great morning also, and spotted moving nets on other boats. The heaviest I've seen for traffic out there this summer.
