SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Had a great time fishing the derby. No money fish, but caught a bunch. Got my fishing partner's grandson his first salmon. He turned out to be quite the rod hog after that. Thanks to Miss-Em for the tip on putting rod holders at the back of the boat for the kids. That worked great, otherwise 7year old Carson might have been pulled out of the boat with his 25# king. We stayed in close near 9 mi. to stay out of the winds and waves. There were plenty of kings and cohos around the bottom in 65 to 85' to keep us busy. Great trip , hope to get back up there this weekend
