I have not tried it but would like to. I do have a whippin rod and it should be time to try that soon as well.

The niagara is just like the detroit river I figure. Whippin would be a good idea. I bet upper and lower would be good too.

Mark, I don't know if you have seen the DEC video of the water below the peace bridge, but it is LOADED with walleye. Scary water with rocks waiting to wreck your prop. The Detroit River is a fairly smooth bottom. Below the Peace Bridge you have huge jagged slag boulders. The area above the bridge is a more even shale bottom, but tough to find an anchor hold.
