8/7- Sandy Report

Went out for a quick evening trip. Ended up 1 for 1- nice steelie caught by my father- currently 2nd in the Orleans Derby 11 lbs, 11 ounces

There was a TON of bait between 60 and 100 fow with marks everywhere. Temp has moved back in as well- but the fishing is still really tough.

My wife is really happy to have this 2nd fish taking up space in her big freezer.

No pics this time. By the time we got home, it was dark and pouring.

FYI for anyone else from Sandy or the Genesee fishing the Orleans derby. Give yourself enough time to drive to Oak Orchard to wiegh in.

At 7:30 PM tonight- East Fork Marina was closed- we made it to the Oak with 5 minutes before closing.
