B&B weekend

We got a late start Saturday, got on the water around noon. Launched at T-Falls, set up right out front in the middle and headed north. 80' rigger fired before I got all of the rods in the water, and Kaden battled "Big Head" to the boat. Thought to myself "gonna be a good day!" Continued north to the scout camp, lots of bait and fish on the bench but they weren't active. We did manage a few takers on f/f off dipsys, and dropped a couple of good fish. Ended the day 2 lakers, a few dropped fish, and Kade in first place.

We decided to fish out of Bruce's boat sunday due to weather forcast for good chance of rain. Found the fish from saturday above scout camp, but still weren't very active. Number wise we had a better day, but nothing over 7 lbs. Ended up with 5 salmon off leadcore, 2 salmon off the 50' rigger, and 4 lakers off dipsys. Enough action to keep Kade busy, but looking at the screen it should have been a circus. Still an awesome weekend of fishing, and Kade's fish held up and he won the youth division, which was the goal anyway.

Nice to meet you guys as well, It was fun to trade fishing stories with Kaden. He will remember those days fishing for the rest of his life. I'm sure many more fishing tails in the future. Wes
