flasher or spindoctor on rigger

just had a question about running flasher or spindoctor out on downrigger s was just wondering if its a common practice or are they best off of wire and dipsy s jst lookin to put a few more in the boat i have learned alot this year and always look forward to learn more thanks to everyone and happy fishing

I almost always have one down on the rigger untill the fish let me know what they want. somedays I have all flashers on the riggers, somedays all spoons. But I always start with a mix. Predominatly (sp) the top 50 feet spoons are the presentation of choice and a mix below that depth.
