Fishing Report

LongLine

Launched at 5. Calm & some stars, some clouds. Only 1 boat ahead of me & he went up river.

Maybe 8 people on the Summerville pier. 67F in the river.

Went out to 35 fow, took a left & setup. 64 on top. Zigzagged out to 60 then back in & worked the 45-55 range to Russell & back. 60F on the bottom. Lots of bait there with quite a few big guys porpoising & playing on the surface. Looked back after the sun came up & there were 23 boats jockeying for position around the river.

Anyways got this chunker ½ way to Russell, on the bottom with an NK Wonderbread; 2 ¾ mph, 40 ft lead. Also had a bite-off & one complete "nobody home" miss.

About 9:00 the boats started moving out & the screen went blank. Off at 10:30 About 25 trailers in the lot. Water has gone down quite a bit but still very launch-able. City has put more cleats on the docks.

Luck to all

It was nice to see you out there with the now legal three rods at the back of your boat and the camera flashing.

It was just before sunrise and my boat was probably the first one to pass by yours on the way to 500 fow away from the combat fishing zone.
