Rod repair

Looking for some direction on who/where to find a good person to repair a broken rod tip. Anything around Rochester? Is it worth spending the money on a trolling rod or should I just buy a new rod?

You can buy a decent trolling rod for 35 bucks. Unless you place great sentimental value in it as I do my snoopy rod, buy a new one. (or put it on your Christmas list, then go buy a new one & you'll have 2 new ones)

How much broke off ? If it is only a few inches, go to B&E or Jay V & they can fix you up. Captains cove also. You can do it yourself. It's not hard at all.

Cabalas bargain cave had trolling rods for $ 20. Somtimes it's cheaper to buy a new one & have it shipped to your house if you have to drive a long way to get it fixed.
