Was there a tournament this weekend on Waneta? Anyone fish it?

Here are the results (from the NMA email chain):

20 guys entered

5 fish total caught

1st place - 40"

2nd - 36"

3rd - 33"

The other 2 fish were a 34" fish (the guys did not get in for weigh in) and a 31" fish (they lost the fish when holding it for a pictures).

I did not hear anything about prizes that were given.

Yeah that was toothy's tourney. I knew nothing about it till i ran into him on the lake Sunday..wish I had known beforehand

Btw- that day, wife lost one on her 2nd cast, (which made it all of 10 ft from the boat). First time using a baitcaster and she was busy inspecting the reel while the fish grabbed her bait. she didn't get to fight it long, but she said she now understands the musky bug...think she hooked too now

That was our only action and came during the only break in the clouds all day.
