Hello All,

Made it out with my buddy Curtis on what was probably the last warm day of the year! Fished noon to suppertime. We had to don raingear at the end and packed it in when the driving rain made us ask ourselves , "What are we, nuts?"

Ran two seth greens, two leadcores and one topline. Way more weeds than seemed normal for the fall. Got 3 big lakers that shook off boatside so no pictures. Two rainbows, the biggest of which was 17 inches. Curtis kept it because I had been bragging to him about how delicious canandaigua rainbows are. The real trophy of the trip came on the leadcore with a little rapala : a honking 4.5 pound smallmouth.

Get out there if you can. The fish are biting and the lake will be all yours.
