GB. well be up to catfish starting late friday ,also friday is the first day of the loc derby , the guarantee way to get a big salmon is not get in the derby ive heard many stories of people who saved 25.00 that could of won 7500.00 up to 20,000.00 if ya can afford it get in . go straight out little N/W to 100 ft put a gr spindocter /or Echip down the shute80 to 100ft dow at the good temp.tell ya what go to fat nanceys in polockville (POLASKI) and them boys will give ya the straight scoop, where the fish are and what there using .. the salmon are staging now and the catching should be great........................CAUTION stay outa that pack of boats if your not used to steering in a bunch of crazed fishermen half of the boats have no idea of the laws of boating, the other half are so busy fishing they ant paying attention. if youve ever been on the hudson on a weekend during striper season then anything lake onterio fishermen throw at you will seem like childs play.sorta like sking whistler mtn in BC then comming back to swain. me boats name is PEGASUS bring some small water stuff if your a diehard fisherman the salmon river is full of smallmoulths in town and there is fish spread out in the river ,drive to altmar and look at the hatchery, and the hole by the church its closed to fishing now but youll see a lot of fish in one spot there.

Hey GB, we have been doing great this year first thing in the morning with just plain old green echip flashers with a ulta glow green atomic fly, and the best one a white echip flasher with a glow white fly. running the green 20 foot behind the ball and the white one 15 from the ball. i have been putting the green at 55 deg and the white below it 10-15 feet. running spoons above and below the flashers have had there time also. dipseys have been smoking this year with white echip and hammer flies and green spiinys with hammer fly. once the sun comes up chrome has been doing good. white has produced all day too. hope this gives you a starting point, good luck and hope you get into them.
