Thinking of installing trim tabs on a 22' grady white, need some pros / cons. Whats better , Lenco electric or bennett hyd. , something else? For installation, operation, maint.? The boat lists to port side a bit when on plane. Thanks for any input.

I can not comment about the quality of either. But I know I had a leak on one of my bennetts on my new to me boat..And they sent me 2 repair kits for free.. Now that is service!

If I was making a new purchase I would definitely go with hydraulics. All of the electrical is hidden out of the weather.

I added, Lenco electrics to my Thompson and they work great. There are a number of high quality boat manufacturers that install Lenco's as factory equipment. The electric actuators on the Lenco tabs have a much faster response time than the Bennet Hydraulic tabs.

That being said, Bennet's have a rock solid reputation for quality and dependability and from everything I've seen, their customer service is reputed to be second to none.

I think the Lenco's are probably easier to install as there are no hydraulic systems to deal with, but I don't really think you can go wrong with either one.
