Wheres the ice at?

Im a soldier stationed at Fort Drum and would love to get out on the ice after some walleyes but I dont know what bays on the lake are safe and i havent heard of any other lakes that people catch them on. I was just looking for some info about any safe ice on the bays or lakes aound here? and where i might track down some eyes as well?

Carry falls reservoir is up that way. Dont know if its frozen, but i have caught them in open water. Tupper Lake as well
