Braddock Bay ice

anyone check the ice at the bay? How is it looking?

It had a little ice when I came to work today. Snow covered with a lot of slushy spots. It will be a couple days.

There was open water fri. afternoon and a thin layer of ice today.

I checked the ice this morning one or two hits with the spud bar and your threw. An inch to two inches. also the water is muddy and shallow.

A few guys went out sunday a few more out today.

I was out there yesterday for an hour after hitting another spot somewhere else. Fished one hour on 3" of cloudy white ice and went 1 for 2. The one I landed was around 26". Water was very murky (only about 9" of visibility).

Tonight will be three real cold nights in a row, think it will be safe tomorrow (Fri) morning?

A few guys were out today mostly in between the docks.

I plan on being out there tommoro morn. I will have my black Steelers jacket on so say Hi if ya see me. Im gonna try for Pike and a few perch. Hey Guys, i was going to fish Braddocks tomorrow...how do i get these "docks" and where do i park?

A lot of fisherman out today and one snowmobile. No fisherman went threw the ice but the snowmobile boke threw. the guy got out o.k but the snowmobile is still on the bottom.
