3 rod holders, how much track?

im getting ready to order some new ratcheting rod holders for my boat. i want to rig 3 per side on a 24" track. is a 24" track enough? thanks, mark

I have 3 berts per side with 36" of track. It leaves plenty of room for different rod angles. I think 24" would work but I think it would seem crowded.
