New Canadian Northern Pike Record Photos??

Dear Fellow fishermen,

Anybody see the pictures of the latest HUGE PIKE from Rainy Lake in Canada...new record 50+ lbs??? Or has photoshop struck again?? Will try to upload the pics tomorrow.

Bill.....that pic has been going around for a couple years.....at least 2 years maybe more. I believe that fish was caught in Norway, or some other European country. None the less it is a monster no matter where he caught it.....

This fish was caught over five years ago. It grabbed a hold of a smaller pike when they were winding it in. There are more pictures of the monster holding tight to the smaller guy..

Yeah that guy is only 4'6" so even perch look big in his hands, lol.

Hi Everybody

The guy holding the pike actually contacted me and gave me the real story of the pike. It's not a Northern Pike, it's a European Pike and they generally grow to be four times the size of a North American Northern Pike. This particular pike was caught in the Netherlands, not Canada.
