Olcott summer fishing

Can you guys tell me if the salmon fishing is any good in the Olcott area around July 4th? I have fished there early speing and done well but I am not sure if fish migrate away from the area mid summer.

Olcott is fantastic all year round.

The last 3 seasons or so, the end of June early July timeframe has been as consistent as any time for Olcott Salmon. As a fulltime Charterboat operator, I live and run out of this harbor because of the consistency of the fishing here.

Olcott is lights out from mid-late June through the entire month of July. Finding Kings get a little sketchy at times when you start getting into August, but there's always something to play with out there.

There isn't a port on the lake I'd rather fish out of that time of year. Luckily, just like Vince, it also happens to be my home port.
