Silver has about 4" of ice. lots of gills on the south end.Few pike being caught.Most guys fishing out of Macks or boat launch,few guys out of Traber Rd.Mid lake north not safe shore ice isn't very good but doable.Few decent perch some crappie.

Honeoye ice is all but gone :( Conesus was here for a couple days and gone :( I heard there are people fishing Loon lake but thats a hike from rochester I'm ready for spring!!!

Yeah, we're heading north to the Northern Challenge this weekend - gotts find ice where we can!! We have our fingers crossed for ice the rest of the month for the Bayside, Warren's, and Polar Tournaments!! 8) We've already been talking about open water fishing too!

With the warm weather coming these next 2 days I may get the little boat out. I hope Feb brings ice.

I talked to 4 of them as they came off, said it was scary, they could hear and see it cracking as they were walking so they decided to head to shore. They did catch a few nice ones. The other guy was still out there at 4:30, but I guess he made it in, his car is gone. They said there was only 2 inches at best in spots.

5 Crazy guys fishing Sodus right now... 57 degrees and sunny...ice maybe 3 inches thick!
