Started fishing at 6pm. Figured due to the upwelling we would stick in close. Fished 70-120FOW. Surface temp was 45-42 temp at the probe was 40-38.

Went 3 for 4 with the big boy being 28# King. Echip/fly took 2 landed fish and 1 lost, and a NK Bloody Nose took 1 fish on a slider. Unfortunetly we hooked up with the 28# are 7:55 and the fish gave a 30min fight, too late for weight in :x

We did not have our digital camera but do have some ****ty cell phone camera pictures that I will try to get up

Thanks for the great Report!

Fighting kings just before the sunset tends to yield the biggest catch of the day. I figured that any fish that continues to feed through the late evening has to be a very hungry fish and its voracious appetite would result in a very large size. Thats too bad about the 8 p.m. cut off at the weight station.

Wish you best of luck the next time.

Tight lines.
