Launched out of Treman both days. Found some great fish Sat. up the East side. Some Lakers and good Salmon with a couple browns mixed in. Started hitting them good as soon as we found the gravel bottom. Ran boards right up on shore with Orange and Firetiger sticks working the best. Purple stinger weighted with a smaller snap weight took a couple nice fish as well. Harder fishing Sunday with only a couple decent browns directly in the mud. Fish in the cleaner water seem to have moved. As soon as we got into about ten foot the lures started firing and we had 3 big Northers on at the same time! All on Rattling Rogues. With three lures all messed up and one snapped leader we decided it was time to get out of there anyways.

Northern on the bottom weighed in at 17 lbs. on the digital scale!

WOW!!

Nice report. Glad to see Cayuga pike are not dying off like Seneca.

Thanks guys! Nick - thats the largest Northern I've ever caught and the first decent one I've seen in awhile. I'm guessing they are stacked up heavy down there

Awesome post! Love the fish pics too! With the warmer than normal winter the pike might be staging to spawn ??? Seems way too early but it is an off year for winter weather.
