18 lb Leadcore

What is the max depth you can achieve with 100 yrds of 10 color 18lb leadcore?? Or how deep per color..?? I no someone on this page knows the answer.

It depends on your speed and what lure you pull. The 18 pound stuff does go deeper than the 27 pound test,mostly because it has the same amount of lead per yard (grains of lead as they call it)as the 27 pound test while it has a noticable smaller diameter. I would go for 60 feet for the full 10 colors.

Ive snagged bottom in about 65' going 1.3 mph with 9.5 colors out.
