The state controls the level of Cayuga....After last spring and summer high water and flooding....They are probably preparing for same this year...When I got to my summer home on April 29 last spring.....Treman launch parking lot was flooded ....Never saw it that high...I didn't fish two tournaments last year because of HIGH water

Bandrus - It depends on the size of your boat! I have a 21' aluminum and wont try it. We were pounding them out of treman for a couple weeks than they lowered the lake another foot..

Just looked at union springs launch yesterday. Yeah, its low but if you have 4 wheel drive and a fairly light boat (aluminum) you should be ok. Middle ramp is rough and I would avoid it. Lots of wood and other debris on the concrete ramp. Looks like you could keep all your vehicle wheels on the ramp and out of the lake bottom to launch. I would go to Seneca, bigger and better perch fishing.

Dean's cove should be ok.

They lowered the lake another foot about 2-3 weeks ago. The reason is the Hydrilla problem. The DEC requested it. This is as low as they can go before problems happen with the Seneca Falls water treatment plant intake around Canoga.........

Good Luck

I would stay clear of Treman we launched there a week ago and had difficulty getting back to the docks>
