laser scope or other for ar-15

I’m in the market for a scope for my new Stag AR-15 model 3. I know a lot of people like the Aimpoint and Eotech scopes but I’m looking for something that doesn’t cost more than half of what the rifle costs. Really don’t want to spend more than $300. Looking for something that’s good for at least 100yds. Any suggestions?

Look at the Vortex Strikefire. It is what I run on AR and AK rifles. You might also like the Bushnell or Millet red dots. Any of these can be had from 150 to 200.
