Was out yesterday from 8:30 - 1:30. Day started with a dead battery but ended up 17-21 on cookie cutter browns. All between 3-6 lbs. Stick bait between 8 and 12 feet did the trick. Once the wind picked up it was hard to keep the speed down. Water was nice and green to start but i think that is down at Gina by now. Nice to get back out and a fun way to start the season. I kept a couple browns for family and the meat was a dark orange. Most browns I have caught this time of year are a whiter color. but all these fish were bright in color. I will post pictures of fish later, but they were nice fat and healthy. Maybe the little guys that never ran the creek or came out early.

Great news.

Where did you launch? How sanded up is the outlet?

North end launch at end of 590. Outlet is not bad if you keep to the west side. Bridge is still in so keep your head down.
