3 years ago there was a bass tournament up by chaumont bay. Coast guard was out rescueing bass boats in 6' surf. We were out on my father-in-law's ocean boat but were tucked into a cove where the waves were much smaller. I have braved 6'ers in my boat but that was because of a freak rain storm and the bow is about 6' tall.
