Hi !

Going to try making some fly leaders and was wondering if I should go with the single treble or double hook set up.

Also wondered about adding the rattle or not ?

Thanks

My "go to" fly leader consists of 50# fluorocarbon, #1 Gamakatsu treble hook (2x strong), 2-3 beads, 3/0 Gamakatsu octopus, and a single bead. Since i started tying "tournament ties" instead of the standard single treble, i have seen improved hook ups.

I'll second Rob's tie with the Gamakatsu hooks they are nasty sharp and greatly increased my hook up to landing ratio....
