How many ams are interested in a serious am only tournament

I am definatly watching this thread. Was planning on a Am team this year to fish all 4 events...removing that division and increasing the pro fee kind of discourages making the "jump" to the pro division.

I like the idea of a point system to track all the events. It sets apart the knowledge of the home port and adds a challenge to fish harder.

Im in 100% for any variation to the old standard. Anything I can do to help... Im a small business owner in a nearby state but my employees and I spend every free minute (30+ days and a few tourneys) on the Lake and would be willing to do whatever is required to ammend the current situation to make it conducive to the smaller guys. -jeff
