DEC objectives for LO - comment period

I thought I should post this for those that would be interested and inclined to have their voice heard.

The DEC just released a draft of objectives for Lake Ontario.

This is very interesting reading and provides some insight as to where the fishery is headed. I strongly urge you guys to take a few moments to read it.

I'd like to see the objectives list out specific quantifiable numbers & not just a reference to a previous year or some multi-year range. i.e. (using my made-up numbers) a catch rate of 0.2 fish/hour, a return rate of 10k fish, an average 3 yr old fish minimum weighing 18.1 Lbs or 34" long, wounding rate of 2 per hundred, etc
