SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Did'nt seem to matter what color the water was it was more the depth and speed, Moved in close to shore nothing, Moved back out to 18-20 ft found them again. Most fish were 4-6 pound range,Got one nice one 10 plus, Lost one at the back of the boat. Then the bite turned off. Talked to a couple other guys that went east , He caught 1, The other skunked. All in all first trip shake down turned out good. Not alot of boats out there.

We launched out of Mexico, about 6:45, and went west to the high rocks, and back, varying depths/speeds/changing up sticks, and spoons.

What we did catch, was all on blue/silver colors.

Gin-clear water all the way, with the warmest temp about halfway.

Only 4 hits, 2 boated, but what a beautiful day to kick off the season!
