SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Fish in the fog Saturday with Tacklebox on my boat. Fished between Hugh's and Salmon Creek. Seamed where ever we found stained water along with a degree or 2 higher temp, we found fish. Same tactics for Sunday just using Tacklebox's boat, Blackduck. Being a bright day the fish shut down earlier. About 10am. Biggest fish was 10.3 lb Brown. Bow was about 3-4lbs. Both of us had trouble free maiden voyages for 2012 season. :clap:

Thanks for the report.

We caught 2 out of Hughes going east first thing Saturday morning. Nothing after that. We had a hard time finding any stained water. The other boats that came in around lunch time were all skunked. The two we picked up were on Purple/Orange Jr. Thundersticks. I was wondering what colors were working for you? Also, did you notice any difference in speed for your bites?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi ya Tom

We changed lures constantly however the 2 colors that always stayed out both Saturday and Sunday was black and silver and blue and white Rapala's. But I saw fish taken on firetiger, orange bomber, Frog spoon, lemon ice spoon.

For speed we kept it at 2.5mph and we always keep a spare pole handy with a lure on it to check how the lures look.

Hope that helps
