Hi.

Got out with a buddy from work for a few hours and could only get 1 taker.

A decent 17# king. Took a green hootchie momma w/ a green frog fly on #3 dipsey setting out 210' over 98FOW.

Worked mostly 85 - 120 FOW from east of mouth to just past pump house. Seemed like decent bait from 95 - 105 FOW range with some stubborn fish mixed in. Radio chatter seemed to indicate a slower bite for most, so being new to the game I was just happy not to get skunked. :D East wind, lunar eclipse, not really knowing what I'm doing - who knows, but it beats a morning at work.

Good luck to all you LOC fisherman this weekend, hope things pick up for ya's.

Bob-

I have spoken to a numberof guys that were out this AM with similar results. I think that big full moon last night allowed the fish to eat alot during the night- hense the slow bite this AM.

Good Luck!

Hi Foster.

Yea, my co-worker was out the day before by himself and landed 3 decent kings by himself so we figured we would team up and increase the odds of catching more. Well we found out it doesn't always work like that.

I guess a lot can change in a day, or even a few hours out on the BIG O.

Lots of things to learn with currents, winds, temps, techniques, etc... and seems like the conditions are constantly changing.

It isn't quite as "easy" as some make it seem.

But it wouldn't be fun if you always killed um'. Scratch that. Yea it would! :)

GOOD LUCK ALL!
