Sodus????

Im taking my 9 year old daughter out to sodus for the day on Sat ( it will be our first time). She informed me that she want to catch some perch and grill them on Sun. Looking for some advice on good places to take her in the bay.

From a post yesterday: "Guys, the bite on Sodus is crazy right now. One every cast crazy. So load up the kids and get down there. Lot of sorting through the little ones but the action is non stop. 6ft of water is where we did the damage this afternoon."

Where is a good place to set up shop?

Put your boat in at the state launch on Rt. 14, its south of sodus point. drift the shore line with minnows above the sinker till you find perch. put out the anchor and if its not deep cast jigs with minnows, or follow the crowd. . Good luck.

Best advise , cause there will be a crowd.., as soon as someone gets a sight of one being caught the crowd will follow...
