Did the shakedown trip this a.m. with my daughter. She got her 1st rainbow (~7#) at the boat within the 1st 20min. of fishing, but we dropped it while getting the camera out  .

Did a few more fish off the boards with stickbaits, including a nice fat smallie about 4#.

Ran the seth green rig for a short time picking up a 5# laker.

Did nothing on the rigger with spoons and never did get the dipseys in.

Spent most time in 70fow or less, till I ran the rig in 100-130fow. All on the east shore out of Woodville. Surface temp was 44. Turned out there was a nice mud line extending down the middle of the lake over deeper water which I did not see until we were out of time.... 2 other boats seemed to be working it when we left.

Awesome March day to be on the water, boat ran good & got some fish. Definetly beats going to work :)

Thanks tcon. Ya it was a nice morning on the water. She really wanted that bow picture though ... it was a beauty!

Always good when the motors and gear cooperate , the fish were a bonus at that point. ;)
