Sandy Creek Pen Rearing 2012

On Saturday afternoon April 7 at Sandy Creek Marina the final stages of site prep, including pen assembly, will take place to receive the fish for 2012 pen project. The Steelhead will be arriving on Monday 9 @ 1pm at Sandy Creek Marina and the Kings are looking to arrive a week later. Anyone willing to volunteer time to help out or to help with feedings please contact:

Update

We have another change from the DEC. The DEC has now changed our times for delivery of the Steelhead. They will still be delivered on Monday. The DEC will first direct stock steelhead at the public boat launch at 2pm and then stock our pens at 2:30pm Monday. It is possible the truck could arrive ahead of schedule so volunteers could meet the truck either at the launch or the marina but, please be there early. I would suggest the truck could arrive as much as a half hour early.

If we could please communicate this information to our volunteers it would be greatly appreciated.
