SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Fished friday and saturday. Friday wasn't bad. Only hooked up with 12 cookie cutters. Got one screamer on the rigger. It snapped the leader while taking drag. So I went home last night and rigged 20 lb. floro leaders. Went out today, smashed on cookie cutters in the morning. Got way, way to the west and picked up 3 browns in the 6 to 8 lb range. Took 11-12 pounder. Made the turn at Shadigee and immediately hooked into 13-14 lb. brown. Popped a few cohoes. Then moved out to 20 ft. of water and hooked up with the first boated King of the year. The big brown killed one black and silver rapala and the king kill one to. It was my best day this year!! bright colors didnt do much. the hot spoons today where sea sick wads, dirty white boy ,and some mixed veggies. black and silver raps where key on the broads, and they took all the bigger fish. ran some thunder sticks not much there either. It was another great day on the lake!
