SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS I believe the lakers are hunting rainbow smelt right now, so lure size & color were picked accordingly. One laker went 8 1/2 lb. I was out alone, so I found the planer board too much work - went to flat-lining with 3/8oz snap weights about 15ft up the leader. I had a good and most enjoyable couple of hours.
