Which alum. boat would you choose.

When picking a boat I would say the layout is as important as the brand. I like a wide boat. I have extensive experience in a large 8' beam boat and I can tell you that was a world of difference than a 7'6" boat. Weight is important -- but a quandary because you want to be heavy in the water and light on the trailer.

All boat buyers should be aware that you can buy alot of glass for $10K -- subtract that from the price of a new alumn boat and there is alot of coin left for dockage and fuel!!
